The company
London Design & Construction is a team of eight: our own staff alongside specialist trades we work with regularly. General building is the main part of our work, together with extensions, loft conversions, plumbing, electrics, roofing, design and commercial construction.
Most of our work comes by recommendation from past clients. Every project runs through one point of contact, from the first drawing to the day the building is handed over.
We work for homeowners and for commercial clients, and the two are run as separate sectors. The project diaries on this site are our own jobs, photographed on site at each stage.

How a project runs
Design, structure, trades and handover on one programme.
Design
A site visit, a measured survey and drawings, with the layout and specification agreed before the quote is finalised.
Structure
Groundworks, foundations, steelwork, walls and roof, inspected by building control at each stage.
Trades
Plumbing, heating, electrics, plastering, joinery, tiling and decoration, sequenced on one programme.
Handover
The finished building is handed over with the building control completion certificate and the electrical and gas certificates.
