Plumbing & Heating by one team
Plumbing and heating are installed by our own team as part of the building work. That means the pipework for a new shower room, the manifold for underfloor heating and the radiators in an extension are planned with the structure and the floor build-up, and not fitted around them afterwards.

New bathrooms, en suites and walk-in showers, including the pipework, waste runs, tiling and sanitaryware.
Underfloor heating
Wet underfloor heating laid within the floor of an extension or refurbishment, zoned and connected to the existing heating system.
Heating alterations
Radiators and pipework extended, moved or replaced to suit a new layout, with the system balanced and tested at completion.
First and second fix
Pipework is installed before the walls are closed and the fittings are connected after decoration, in step with the other trades.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take on plumbing work that is not part of a larger project?
Most of our plumbing is carried out within an extension, loft conversion or refurbishment. Send the details of a standalone job with your enquiry and we will confirm whether we can help.
Can underfloor heating be added to an existing room?
Yes, but the floor level needs to be considered. In a new extension the pipes are laid in the screed. In an existing room, a low profile system can be laid over the current floor, which raises the finished level slightly.
Who carries out gas work?
By law, any work on a gas boiler or gas pipework must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The registration is checked for every gas installation on our projects.
Will my existing boiler cope with an extension?
It depends on the size of the boiler and the heat loss of the new rooms. The heating load is calculated at the design stage so that any upgrade is included in the quote.
